The 127mm compact telescopeshows much more details than the 90mm and 102mm models. The central obstruction is 30% only, resulting in contrasty image even at high magnifications. Compared to similar aperture telescopes (eg. Mira 130, Luna 130) this Maksutov-Cassegrain is much shorter and weights less meaning that it is easy to transport. The recommended magnification range is 37.5x-250x and provides sharp images on Moon and planets. Dovetail plate is included but there's a standard photo thread as well. When using it on a tripod during daytime an Amici-prism is needed. The two eyepieces provided deliver 52x and 130x magnification. A Starpointer or an achromatic 6x30 spring load finderscope is included (depending on the model). The focuser has a T-thread making it possible to mount cameras as well. The EQ3 mount can be equipped with clock drive and GoTo kit as well.
The telescope can be purchased with AZ GoTo mount as well.
For the GoTo version we highly recommend the Skywatcher Wi-Fi unit (SynScanWifi), with which you can control your telescope via smartphone or tablet. Just plug the Wi-Fi unit into the hand controller slot and download the free App (Android or iOS) - it is ready to use.
